Brass, Copper & Titanium
All three are reflective at 1064nm. Copper is the worst, brass is workable, titanium is a dream, colors easier than stainless.

Polished brass is harder than satin/brushed. Light scuff with a Scotch-Brite breaks the reflection enough to start the mark.
Copper
The most reflective common metal. A 60W fiber will mark coated copper but bare copper requires either chemical pre-treatment (stannous solution darkens the surface) or marking spray. Don't waste time trying to deep-engrave bare copper at 60W, get a higher wattage or use the spray method.
Titanium
Easiest of the three. Colors with even less power than stainless. Treat any starting setting at 70-80% of stainless equivalent.
Reflection hazard
Polished brass and copper will throw the beam back into your galvo head. Always wear glasses. Consider marking at a slight angle (tilt the part 3-5°) to reflect away from the lens.
